Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Santa Fe Springs Concrete, santafespringsconcrete.com, hello@santafespringsconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Santa Fe Springs Concrete website and any estimate or work you ask us for through it. By using the site, calling us or sending a request, you agree to them, so please read them before you book.

If you have a signed estimate or contract with us, that document controls for your job wherever it says something different from this page.

What we do

Santa Fe Springs Concrete is a concrete contractor in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We do driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, pool decks, retaining walls, footings, foundations, decorative and stamped concrete, cutting and related work for homes and businesses in Santa Fe Springs and the cities around it.

The service descriptions on our home page and service pages explain the work in general terms. They aren't a promise that a given method, finish or schedule fits your property, because we only know that after we've seen the site.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free and come with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, such as the size of the area, the condition of the ground, access for our crew and equipment, and the finish you choose.

Some things only show up once the old concrete is out, like soft or wet ground under the slab, roots, buried debris or old pipes. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you and agree on the change with you before we go on.

Prices and descriptions on this website are general information. Your price is the one in your written estimate or contract.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set your start date when you approve the estimate. Concrete depends on weather, ground conditions and material deliveries, so we may move a pour if rain, high heat or a supplier delay would hurt the finished slab, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (562) 689-9662 as early as you can. If you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has started, you may owe for those materials and the work already done, as your contract describes.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the waiting period while it hardens and gains strength before it can take foot traffic or a car. We'll tell you when it's safe to use, and damage from using it sooner isn't covered by us.

Payment

Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your estimate or contract. You agree to pay those amounts when they're due.

If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it's settled. Any amount still unpaid after the job is done can be collected through the means California law allows.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, to tell us about anything we should know under or near it, such as sprinkler lines, drains, private utilities or septic parts, and to make sure the work is on your property or that you have permission to do it.

Any permit, HOA approval or neighbor agreement your project needs is the property owner's responsibility unless your contract says otherwise. Ask your city's building office if you aren't sure what your job needs.

What concrete does on its own

Concrete shrinks as it dries, so some hairline cracking is normal even on a well-built slab. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give cracks a straight place to form, but we can't promise a slab will never crack.

Color, texture and finish can vary from samples, photos and between pours, because the mix, weather and curing affect how each batch turns out. Small variations like these aren't defects.

Warranty

Santa Fe Springs Concrete is licensed and insured. Any warranty on your job is the one written in your contract, and it covers only what that document says.

Outside of a written warranty, the website and its content are provided as they are, without promises of any kind. No warranty covers damage from settling of soil we didn't prepare, tree roots, heavy loads the slab wasn't built for, deicing salts, harsh cleaners, misuse, other contractors' work or events outside our control.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, Santa Fe Springs Concrete isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a driveway or lost income, that come from our work or your use of this website.

If we are found liable for something, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the work involved. Nothing on this page limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

If something about your job isn't right, call us or reach us through our contact page first, because most problems get fixed fastest when we come out and look at them together.

If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit will be filed in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a signed contract unless we both agree in writing.

You can learn more about our crew on our about page. If you have questions about these terms, call (562) 689-9662 or send us a note through the contact page, and expect a reply within 1 business day.
